the cat plays with low-hanging ornaments till one falls on its head. cookies for Santa are gone in the morning -- milk in Dad's mustache... cricket chirping... so cold! so cold! you can stay in my stocking tonight. up close, she smiles, blushes...but I'm not prepared for the mistletoe! I put on my mittens -- watching the children making angels in the snow. none of my gifts can match the joy of the squeaky toy we got for the dog.
